These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kamai Electric website and the booking of electric scooties through our platform. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

The Kamai Electric website and services are operated by Charm Retail (Proprietor: Adarsh Kumar Singh), GSTIN 07LPNPS2151D1ZM, registered at B-380, First Floor, Ismailpur Road, Near Kalawati Public School, Jaitpur Extension Part 1, South East Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110044 ("Kamai Electric", "we", "us").

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indian government ID (Aadhaar) and a valid driving licence to book and ride a Kamai Electric scooty. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.

2. KYC Verification

Every rider must complete identity verification before their first booking is confirmed. This includes uploading your Aadhaar card and driving licence. Our team reviews submissions manually; bookings cannot be completed until your KYC status is approved.

3. Bookings & Rental Plans

Scooties are offered on fixed-duration rental plans (e.g. 1, 7, 15 or 30 days). A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully received. Availability is shown per pickup city and is subject to change until payment is completed.

4. Pricing, Payment & Security Deposit

All payments are processed securely through Cashfree. We do not store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials. Every booking includes a refundable security deposit in addition to the rental amount, held against damage, traffic violations, or late return of the vehicle.

5. Rider Responsibilities

• Ride only with a valid driving licence and, where legally required, a helmet.
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations during your rental.
• Do not sub-rent, lend, or allow any other person to ride the scooty under your booking.
• Return the scooty at the agreed location, date and time, in the condition it was handed over.
• Report any accident, theft, or mechanical issue to our support team immediately.

6. Handover & Rental Agreement

At handover, the scooty's condition is recorded and a rental agreement is issued for your booking. By accepting handover, you confirm the vehicle was received in the condition recorded and agree to the terms of that rental agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Damage & Extra Charges

The scooty is inspected on return. If damage beyond normal wear and tear is found, or the vehicle is returned late, additional charges apply and will be deducted from your security deposit or billed separately through a secure Cashfree payment link. Late returns are charged at 1.5× the daily rental rate for each additional day (or part thereof).

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation eligibility and refund percentages are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kamai Electric is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of a rented scooty, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Indian law. You remain personally responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or third-party claims arising during your rental period.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information, violates these Terms, or misuses the platform, and to withhold or forfeit the security deposit in cases of proven damage, theft, or fraud, in accordance with applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, Delhi, India.
